Trip To Beijing (Day 1)

So, I haven't been posting anything for nearly 6 months now.... I apologise for that, but I'll keep you guys updated every once in a while, and not just when we go on trips and Master went on a school trip to Penang just about 2 weeks ago.

So, last Wednesday we went to Beijing, China, for a 5 days 4 nights trip. Yes... we just came back yesterday, and it was tiring.

On the day before we went to Beijing, our cousin, Kai Zhi came to stay the night for he is coming with us on the trip. He came at around 10 p.m. and Mama brought them for supper and they came to our house and hang around for a while. Then we go to sleep, it's funny because Kai Zhi did not sleep the whole night... while everyone only slept for 5 hours, and we had to wake up at 5 in the morning. At around 5.30 the taxi came and send us to the LCC Terminal where we will depart.

When we arrived at the terminal, we checked in and had a little snacks before getting on board. At 8.30 a.m. we went up the plane by walking across the road from the gate to the plane which is quite far, to be honest... and we took off to TianJin. The reason why we land in TianJin because it's the closest international airport to where we're going- Beijing. We had a 6 hours flight but it's not as boring as you'd think for Mama booked us a couple of Air Asia X Multimedia ePlayers which are only available in Air Asia X flights. At around 9 breakfast is served on board.... comes in small portions~~ that wasn't enough so they ordered some Hot Cup Instant Noodles. After 6 hours stranded in a flying machine flying across Asia, we arrived at TianJin International Airport at around 3 p.m. , where we met our tour guide for the trip, gathered with the rest of the tour group, and head off to the bus, which is parked outside the airport's parking lot, which is quite far, and it's freezing outside... At first it wasn't that cold, but as time passes by.. it gets colder and colder each day.. except for Sunday which it's maximum temperature was 10 Degree Celsius, but still that's cold, not compared to the other days which it reached negative at night and zero or slightly above by the day. It's winter.. what do you expect?

After heading into the bus, we head of to Beijing City which took us nearly 2 hours, pay attention to the highways and you'll notice it's straight all the way for hundreds of kilometres. and the beautiful scenery of the trees without their leaves and the near frozen lakes and paddy fields, the winter sun that sets early, by the time we reach Beijing at around 5.30p.m. and it already looks like 8p.m. in Kuala Lumpur. They had dinner at, they had.. oh Lord, I can't believe I'm saying this.. roast... d-d-d-u-u-u-c-k.. roast duck.. uh~ that was a good chance for the group to get to know each other for the first time after hours in the bus.

After the dinner, they went to watch an acrobatic performance show performed by a bunch of kids doing unbelievable stunts, like acrobats, and dangerous stunts, and cage bikes, kids on bikes running around in a sphere cage round and round horning all the way for like 10 minutes, at first it was only 1 but then they keep adding in until there's 4 bikes running and horning in the giant metal cage.. Then Master bought some popcorn, then we went outside back to the bus where it was extremely freezing, even Zoe and I felt it in the bag, and we head to the hotel to check-in.

At the hotel, we went down the bus, and saw a stall at the corner selling what kinda looks like satay, which was kinda funny because everyone saw it and thought it was satay, but it's not, but they keep describing it as satay.. how lame~

We checked-in and unpacked our stuffs, took a nice warm shower, where Zoe and I walk around the bath tub filled shallowly with warm water, then it's Master and Kai Zhi's turn to soak their feet and take a shower. And we watched some movies and head to sleep.
