Christmas 2011

Well, I guess right now isn't too late to say Merry Christmas!! Well, seriously, Merry Christmas everyone.. And hope you all had a Merry Christmas yesterday. If you'd like to share some of your Christmas thoughts, feel free to share them by commenting on this post, down in the comment section below.

So anyway, this Christmas, we celebrated it with our cousins and the family, we went to a place called Gold Coast Resort, Morib, it's a beach resort, and it was a fun place, unfortunately, since the sea is actually the Straits of Malacca, where most ports and oil processing plants are built, so it's not really that clean to swim in, and also, during the day, the tide can reach really far, leaving the beach as a muddy desert. And during the evening, the tide can reach fairly close to the Water Theme Park, yes, there's a water theme park there, something like Sunway Lagoon and Tiara Beach Resort, but that water theme park, compared to Sunway and Tiara, is very small and very crowded, everywhere you go, there's people walking around and water splashing from the water slides..

Oh yea, and you need a wrist pass to enter the theme park, complimentary entrance for hotel guests only. So anyway, I was upstairs in the room, looking down seven stories and saw Master and Kai Min queuing up for one of the water slides. D'oh, how happy they were, while the girls are just walking around in circles.

After that, they came back up, took a bath, Oh, and there's this huge, well, not really, quite small actually, anyway, err... Bathtub, with Jacuzzi, a shower head and two headrests. So, Master and Kai Min were in the bathroom, filling up the bathtub, chatting, fooling around with the water supply, and so on...........

Then we went to the other rooms and had something to eat, watching some TV, then Dad asked Master to go to this bar on a pier, The Pier, and ordered a bucket of Carlsberg with 5 bottles in it, and, well.. it was for 6 persons. We watched as the sun sets, and the skies grow darker and the waves go by as the tide rises. It was really relaxing and fun. And, Oh, here's some pictures!

After finishing those beers, we head off for dinner at a nearby restaurant, just about five hundred meters from the resort, just outside it. So they had some supper, since it's already 9 p.m. when the food arrived. I mean... They were starving!! Even the food for the children's table came earlier than those for the adults table! By the time the last dish for the children's table, the first dish for the adults just came... And also, for that spare time, Master went walking around the restaurant, which is located by the beach, we went to the beach, looked at the stars, saw some hermit crabs, and walked around.

And after dinner, we went back to the hotel, and celebrated our Christmas! We opened presents, well, obviously, opened a bottle of champagne, watched some TV, hang around, and went back to our own rooms to get some sleep, and watch some TV, well, err... Master and Kai Zhi were the only ones awake that time to watch TV 'till that late, watching the VGA Video Game Awards 2011 on 8TV, until sometime around 2 a.m.. And yes, Zoe and I were still awake, I was watching that too.... And MW3 got the Best Shooter Game of the Year!! How cool is that!!??

Ehhemm.. sorry about the nerd talk, anyway, I was sayin' Master and Kai Zhi stayed up 'till 2 a.m., to watch that show........

The next morning, we woke up, and had breakfast, some went to the lobby to have a breakfast buffet, which was claimed to not have that much food.... while the others, including us, ate in the room, Aunt Jenny brought a multi-purpose cooker, fried some eggs, some sausages, made some omelette, and cooked some noodles.

Then, they went down to the water park, had some fun for a while, and it's back to the room, shower, pack up our stuffs, ate some snacks, and check out, and it's off back home for the new year!

And that's pretty much it! Thank you all very much and hope you liked this post, those of you who went, hope you enjoyed, hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and wish you all happy new year, and good luck for 2012!!

Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 - My Opinion

This post is for gamers..

So recently, Master bought this new game, Call Of Duty, Modern Warfare 3, for a price of MYR189. And we've been playing it for a few weeks now. We installed it on our 2010 White MacBook on Bootcamp with Windows 8 Developer Preview Milestone 8102 with 40GB partitioned Hard Drive space of a 250GB Hard Drive.

We first played Campaign, and we completed it in 7 hours, not really that good, we're just beginners, but, we got the hang of it. Just on Monday we played a new game of Campaign and completed it in 5 hours, we improved a bit, but Master's friends completed them in just 4 hours, 50.3%.

Then we played Special Ops, Survival Mode, survived 12 waves for Resistance, 8 waves for Underground, 6 waves for Village, and 13 Waves for Dome. Don't worry, we'll try our best, and we'll try to improve. And we'll keep you updated for any new achievements in the game, add us on Steam @ IsaacTan97.

2011

Hey to all you folks who are still alive and are reading this, well, I hope you had a wonderful year this year, after all, it only comes once every calendar... As by the title, I'm gonna talk a bit of my life in the year and the previous years

2011 has been a great year for me, I've done many things this year, and so goes to Master and Zoe, dedicated to us all. We had spent a great deal of time together throughout the years, learnt many new things, done many new things, avoided many new things, and so on.. No, it's not the end. But this time, next year it will be, perhaps, hopefully not, period.

So anyway, back to 2011. This year, we went to many vacations and trips, and we enjoyed it very much, as much as we enjoy the previous vacations, trips and adventures throughout the years. This year, on March, we went to Genting Highlands again along with our cousins. On June, during the mid-year school holidays, we went to Cherating with our friends, which, Zoe and I have never met before, so we made quite some new friends. On September, we went to Cherating, again, but this time, along with our cousins and the family. Just last month, we went to Beijing, good times... Met some new friends there, done some achieving things, and no regrets, well, except for the pair of headphones Master bought... but seriously, it was fun and we had a great time. We had some fun and great times this year as well, I hope all you readers have too. If you'd like to share anything, feel free to comment and share your moments, make your day. If you'd like, I can publish it as a post :)

So, do comment if you have anything to say, share any post in the blog, or even just the blog.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Brace yourselves for 2012...
Just kidding, Happy New Year!
But, seriously, things happen....

Period.

Trip to Beijing (Day 5, Last Day)

So, today's the last day. Well.. the last half day. And it's the same as each morning, wake up and do those stuffs... breakfast and off. That's pretty much it, then from our hotel, we checked out, and we just went straight to TianJin across the straight cross country highway, for an hour an a half. Then we went to this mall where there's this market that sell all kinds of foods, we tried them out, not bad, and we had McD for brunch, not much, just some sandwiches. And then we had lunch at this seafood restaurant somewhere in that mall, and it's off to the airport.

Pretty much... that's the end. Goodbye Beijing, see you soon. I'm already missing those wonderful 5 days of our lives. The good times we had.

So we listened to some music, watched some movies and had dinner and supper on the plane. We arrived at Kuala Lumpur at around 10, and reached home at around 12, Kai Zhi's parents came to bring him home and we unpacked our stuffs, and went to sleep.

That's the end.

Trip to Beijing (Day 4)

Day 4, wake up, shower, change, breakfast, wait, up the bus, and off….

We went to this place… I clearly don't know what it's called, and I don't know what we went there for, and the humans had a foot massage with soaking their feet in a hot tub filled with traditional herbs tea at 42 degree celsius.

Then, we went to the Capital Museum of China, there were many exhibits there filled with interesting artefacts from centuries ago, some even a millennium ago.

That is one long script

After that, we went for lunch at a place just opposite the Olympic stadium. When we're done with lunch, we walk to the Olympic Stadium, the Bird's Nest, and the Water Cube. And there's the IBM Building, odd shape… we hang around there for like 30 minutes or so then we head off to the Summer Palace 和园.

There was a beautiful view of a lake, with a temple, and a huge palace, huge garden, small ponds, trees. Then we saw this guy, using a giant ink brush to write things on the ground. And we saw many interesting places for the emperor and empress last time. And then there's some boats, but we didn't went on it, we just exhibited the palace, you know, taking pictures, and that's just pretty much what we do in these ancient places, take pictures, then posting on Facebook, and this Blog.

Tbe freaking weather

For dinner, it was our own expenses, so we went to this market where they sell all kinds of food, and there's a shopping mall, and a department store. So we saw many kinds of weird food like, fried insects and some things we've never even heard off, then guess what, Master, Mama, Kai Zhi and Dad, ate…. roast pigeon!! Oh Lord…. but Zoe and I don't mind because we're used to seeing people eating birds, but after all, that was their first time trying something new… then there's this grilled squid, huge! on a stick! And…. more scorpions, centipedes, spiders, crickets, lizards, roaches, millipedes.. and all that crap. N0 offence.
